Botox and Dermal fillers are both non-invasive options for freshening up and improving your appearance, but it’s important to realize they are not interchangeable.
Fillers are best used for diminishing facials lines caused by lost volume and fullness in the face. Dermal fillers are used to plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles, and improve the appearance of recessed scars.
Botox, on the other hand, is best for wrinkles and creases that are caused by repetitive muscle contraction. Botox is injected into the muscle, temporarily weakening it and improving the look of both moderate to severe crow’s feet, forehead lines, and frown lines between the eyebrows.
